Engine 3
Engine 3 is our primary truck for structure fires and activated alarms/detectors. It has a 5-man crew cab with the driver usually taking the pump operator duties. The other four firefighters have air packs at their seats so that they can gear up and be ready when the truck gets to the scene. Their main job is stretching an attack line to fight the fire. Engine 3 also responds to mutual aid calls in neighboring districts when requested. There is a rear dump on the truck so it can also help shuttle water if needed.
