Engine 1

Engine 1 is the oldest truck in our fleet. It is the second engine to respond for vegetation/field fires and will also go to neighboring departments requesting aid for field fires. It also shuttles water on rural structure fires and car fires on the Interstate. Our second set of extrication tools and cribbing is stored on Engine 1 so it can respond to any vehicle accident if Rescue 1 is already out on a call. Engine 1 is also sent on mutual aid assignments for departments requesting tankers to shuttle water.
